What I do as a manual tester:
As a manual software tester, my job is to find the bugs others miss – or don’t even know exist. I write test cases, explore features, push boundaries, and then gently let the developers know that “this part probably doesn’t work exactly as described in the specification.”
I mainly work on banking projects, where precision, security, and clarity are key. In my daily work, I rely on tools like Jira, Spira, and Zephyr to manage test cases and bug reports, and use Swagger to browse and verify API documentation — because bugs often hide between the lines.

Thanks to my background in UX/UI and service design, I don’t just check if something works – I also care whether it feels right to the user. When it comes to bugs, there’s no escape: I’ll find them – sometimes with an axe or throwing stars or cross but most often with a well-aimed question.
Here’s what I specialize in:
- manual functional testing on web and mobile platforms
- regression and exploratory testing
- considering accessibility standards and inclusive design
- spotting usability issues and edge cases
- creating and managing test cases and bug reports (Jira, Spira, Zephyr)
- using Swagger to explore and test APIs
- writing user manuals and technical documentation
- handling client-reported issues and clarifying bugs
- providing training and product guidance for clients
- working closely with UX designers, developers, product managers and product owners
